You guys, book club went extra-long tonight. It was great, because we were talking about the French Revolution and our fearless leader’s history professor husband provided an informal lecture. It was also great because it was well-attended and the book was good. There was a lively discussion about the time period and the place of women then (and there).
I still prefer our time and place and the relative scarcity of guillotines.
Here we just remove stuff, not heads.
I’ve been pondering ideas for the next bloggy-venture and I’m building up to sharing it with my faithful readership. Mike and I each, independently, came up with the idea of working on 30-Day/Monthly Challenges. I’m not going to get into the difference in how we conceived of it, but I sense it is the likely form a next blog will take. I will let you know as this blog winds down.
I also wanted to let you know that my year of non-clothes-buying let me realize that I have an appropriate NUMBER of suits, just not all suits I love. This is why I’m getting rid of one of them today: I bought one I vastly prefer. This is a 5Down lesson I plan to continue henceforth – once the optimal number of something (suits, say) is achieved, then replacement is the goal rather than acquiring or enlarging the stash.
